California-based startup Fisker has revealed photos of the Ocean Force E, an off-road package for the automaker's electric crossover. Fisker delivered the first examples of the Ocean to customers in the United States earlier this year.

The Force E builds off the Ocean SUV, which ekes out 360 miles of range from the largest 106.0-kWh battery.

The package will be offered on the Ocean One and Extreme trims, both of which use a dual-motor setup providing all-wheel drive.

Fisker will later add the package to the Ultra model, and Ocean owners will be able to retrofit the package to their crossover if they didn't spec it during their initial purchase.

The Force E wraps the 20-inch three-spoke wheels in serious 33-inch Yokohama Geolander G003 mud-terrain rubber.

Between the chunkier rubber and the optional roof basket, the Force E should suffer a decreased range versus the standard Ocean.

The Force E wears plastic wheel arches with a unique honeycomb design, as well as special dampers that should improve its ability to scale treacherous terrain.

The revised front bumper includes a skidplate, tow hooks, and auxiliary LED lights.

The rear bumper gains its own skidplate and orange tow hook, while a titanium plate stretches across the underbody to protect the battery.

An optional interior package will add rubber floors, extra grab handles, and tie downs.

Fisker plans to offer the Ocean Force E starting in the first quarter of next year.
