Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis fight date and tickets for Misfits Boxing 009 bout

Jun 23, 2023

Logan Paul returns to the ring after a long hiatus when he takes on Conor McGregor's teammate Dillon Danis on the same night as KSI faces Tommy Fury

Logan Paul will return to the ring for the first time since his bout with Floyd Mayweather when he takes on Dillon Danis.

Paul, who has yet to win a boxing bout at any level, took on Mayweather over eight rounds in 2021, managing to hear the bell at the end of his exhibition bout with the legendary fighter. He has since focused on his burgeoning WWE career but has decided to settle his differences with Danis in the ring.

Danis, an MMA fighter by trade, will have the support of teammate and coach Conor McGregor for what will be his debut in the squared circle. With just weeks to go before the rivals can finally trade blows instead of barbs, here is everything you need to know about fight night...

Logan Paul will take on Dillon Danis on Saturday, October 14 at the Manchester Arena, the same venue Paul fought KSI in their first fight in 2018. On that occasion, the two YouTube rivals fought to a draw before Paul was edged out in the rematch the following year when KSI had his hand raised in what was officially a professional contest.

KSI takes on Tommy Fury at the AO Arena in Manchester on Saturday, October 14th as he hopes to cause an upset. Logan Paul will also be fighting at the event in front of what is expected to be a sell-out crowd.

From £40 to £2,000

Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis will likely start between 9pm and 10pm in the UK. It will be the second-last fight of the evening, preceding KSI vs Tommy Fury which will sit as the main event. The start time of the fight, which will be held over eight rounds, will likely be set nearer the time, but could still be affected by the fights on the undercard, should they take less or more time to complete than expected.

Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis will be shown live and exclusively on DAZN pay-per-view. The broadcaster has embraced the world of influencer boxing and is the unofficial home of YouTube boxing after agreeing a deal with KSI's Misfits Boxing promotional outfit. Both new and existing customers will have to pay a fee on top of their £9.99 monthly subscription to watch the fight, expected to be around £20.

Logan Paul: I want to slap him so badly, we need to destroy him, I want him on the floor lifeless, please. Logan can do it, he's the guy, he will destroy him.I'll handle it - I have a lot to prove, my last opponent was the f***ing greatest boxer on the planet [Floyd Mayweather, whom he faced in a 2021 exhibition]. You think Dillon Danis stands a f***ing chance? I'm going to cook him, I'm going to slaughter him. I haven't even started, bro. I've just begun, he's out of ammo, picked my fiancee to go after on some baseless bulls*** that a couple of internet trolls believe? I'm just like 'well, watch me work'."

Dillon Danis: "I couldn't care less what Logan Paul has done in the WWE, because when he is in the boxing ring, he is in a completely different world. It's a world of pain, a world where he doesn't have control and it's my world, not his. On October 14, in Manchester, Logan Paul is getting beat down.”
